Marvin is one of the most renowned wood window and door manufacturers in existence.  In 1939, following graduation from the University of Minnesota, William “Bill” Marvin returned home and joined father George Marvin in tiny Warroad, Minnesota, as George’s eighth employee to help with his business, Marvin Lumber & Cedar Company.

 

Bill Marvin would spend the rest of his long life in Warroad, but his vision extended much further.
Soon after Bill joined the company, a lumberyard employee suggested making door frames and barn sashes in an attempt to keep workers busy over the winter. Over his father’s objections, Bill Marvin invested in top-of-the-line woodworking machinery and launched what we now know as Marvin Windows and Doors.  As the decades rolled by, Marvin grew: from a few dozen employees in the 1950s, to a few hundred in the 1960s, to more than 4,000 today.
 

Since 1962, family owned and operated Dial Glass and Window Company, located in the scenic San Francisco Bay area community of Pacifica, has been serving its customers with a full array of glass and window products and services. With current management having over 30 years installation and sales experience, our family believes in personally providing its customers with expert advice and service.

We provide free estimates, for all jobs - no matter what size. It's easy - many estimates can be completed by phone. Others are done by in-home appointment. Come visit our showroom where samples of products are shown, such as glass, windows, shower enclosures, and wardrobe doors.
